So I didn’t want to jinx anything and write this in advance, but as I sit here, I am exhausted from watching the entire game and all of the post game interviews. You see, I am a Buckeye. I was born and raised in this area, but married a man from Ohio and attended law school at The Ohio State University. You only need to spend a short time there (or attend a football game) and you are hooked. You suddenly bleed scarlet and grey. You become a part of Buckeye Nation and today and it is a great membership to have!
As I attended law school and actually worked in Ohio, I am also licensed to practice law there. Each state has its own laws, rules and regulations…and its own Bar Exam! I sat for the Ohio exam and worked as an Assistant Prosecutor in Delaware County for over eighteen months. In the midst of that, I sat for the New York State exam so that, when I returned to this area, I was already admitted to practice law.
Because the laws differ by state, it is usually necessary for you to retain a lawyer in the state of your question or problem. While we can render assistance at times, we are also often able to provide you with a referral to an attorney in that area. Please call if you have questions, even if they are based in other states. After all, the Buckeye Nation is huge!
